Pilgrim at Tinker Creek

Our book for May 2019 is Pilgrim at Tinker Creek by Annie Dillard. It is a "Jane Pick."

Menu: salad with toasted bread rounds, crumbled bleu cheese, and walnuts; assortment of cheesecakes; the seven or eight best hydrating fruits and vegetables: watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, cucumber, celery, etc. and yogurt; three-berry Pavlova; French bread; fruit and vegetable assortment; nuts; deviled eggs; watermelon, mint, and feta cheese salad; brie and cream-cheese spread with artisan bread
